Roadsense
ROADSENSE has been established since 1974, I (Hal Cross) am the proprietor and although
from time to time I have had people working for me I am predominantly a one man band.
I am a family man married with two daughters and four granddaughters.
Areas covered
I work all the local areas around Barnsley but I'm based at Gawber near the General Hospital. I work a door to door pick up service and lessons can be tailored to suit any requirement.
I mainly use Barnsley's test centre but have taken people to Sheffield, Doncaster, Pontefract and a few other test centres on occasions when required.
Tuition car
I have tried different cars over the years and have found Peugeot produce the best tuition vehicles in my opinion.
The car I am using at the moment is a brand new Peugeot 207 hdi 1600cc because it ticks all the boxes. Easy for pupils to handle, robust, comfortable, good looking, manouvers well and in its class eco friendly. It also has features such as dual controls, multi airbags, ABS brakes, variable power assisted steering etc.
